Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machinery and a strong understanding of metal bending processes, safety procedures, and quality standards. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting press brake machines to produce precision-formed metal parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wear the appropriate PPE and follow all company safety procedures at all times.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to determine bending sequences and requirements.

  • Select and install the correct tooling, including dies and punches, based on the job specifications.

  • Perform daily inspections on the press brake, checking oil levels, hydraulic systems, control panels, and tooling condition.

  • Identify basic troubleshooting issues with the machine and notify maintenance when necessary.

  • Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, gauges, or other precision measuring tools.

  • Ensure all bends are within tolerance and meet required quality standards.

  • Adjust machine settings or setups as needed to correct errors or improve accuracy.
