Job Description
We Create Products and Brands That People Trust to Clean, Sanitize, and Protect Their Homes and Pools
When you join KIK Consumer Products, you're joining a team that cares about the work we do and also about each other. We bring exceptional brands and products to consumers that help them protect the health and wellness of their families and the cleanliness of their homes and pools. We are committed to building a culture of performance driven by accountability, collaboration, and agility that enables timely fact-based decision-making and exceptional execution with unwavering ethics. As one of North America's largest independent manufacturers of consumer products, KIK helps a large portfolio of brands and retailers bring their products to life.
Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift team (4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays based on business need). In this role, you'll have direct ownership of shift performance - supervising production employees and holding the line on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost. You'll be the leader on the floor when it matters most: driving output to meet production schedules, resolving issues in real time, and building a team culture where employees are engaged, accountable, and motivated to perform. Beyond day-to-day supervision, you'll be expected to lead continuous improvement initiatives, identify operational gaps, and implement solutions that move the needle. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and know how to get results through people, Apply today.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and supervise shift production operators to meet daily schedules, output targets, and quality standards
  • Communicate daily with the Production Manager on job priorities, staffing needs, and shift performance
  • Maintain Health & Safety, GMP, housekeeping, and quality standards at all times across the shift floor
  • Drive operating efficiency by identifying process gaps, reducing downtime, and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner
  • Initiate work notifications and manage data entry in SAP; participate in Management of Change (MOC) and incident investigations as required
  • Maintain accurate shift records including production counts, machine speeds, line downtime, and all SOP-required reporting
  • Coordinate high-volume work orders across departments, fostering strong cross-functional relationships to keep production moving
  • Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and GMP standards consistently and fairly across the shift
  • Supervise all aspects of personnel management including staffing, onboarding, training, performance, and corrective action
  • Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability expectations for all direct reports
  • Track and report shift efficiencies, rework, and production variances; communicate results directly to line teams with direction on improvement
  • Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams via email and other business communication tools.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to accurately complete computer-based reporting, data entry, and production documentation in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5 or more years of manufacturing experience
  • Hands-on manufacturing expertise with a strong understanding of production operations, workflows, and floor-level execution
  • Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools with the ability to apply problem-solving methodology to real production challenges
  • Proven leadership ability - you drive results, influence across all levels of the organization, and aren't afraid to lead change
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver against deadlines even when obstacles arise
  • Safety-first mindset with demonstrated ability to mentor and coach team members toward a stronger safety culture
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, and other departments
  • Track record of hitting production schedules and improving line efficiency
  • Ability to wear respiratory protective equipment for extended periods when required
