ROLE SUMMARY:

The successful candidate willbe responsible for:

  • Setup and operation of manual and/or CNC machining equipment

  • Ability tomake program edits at the machine for CNC equipment

  • Machining of components to meet print dimensions and tolerances

  • Accurate parts measurement using tools such as, but not limited to

  • Outside micrometer

  • Inside micrometer

  • Depth micrometer

  • Digital, dial and vernier calipers

  • Scales

  • Maintainingan organized and safe work environmentand help to drive improvements in the work centerthat will lead to increases in safety and efficiency

  • Accurately completingall paperwork associated with tasks being performed

  • Keepingup to date withallrequired trainings

  • Workingon a variety of parts and processes and may work across multiple machines

  • Can resolvemost problems and questions within a defined set of parameters

  • May provide guidance tolower-levelemployees

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSAND ABILITIES

  • Typically,3-5years' experience doing similar work

  • Understands and buys into azero-accidentsafety culture expectation

  • Strongshop math skills including arithmetic, conversion of fractions to decimals, basic trigonometry

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/production drawings including tolerancing

  • Previousexperience machining stainless alloys
