Erie Industrial Products (EIP) is looking for a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll inspect materials and manufactured parts to ensure they meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and established quality standards.

If you have manufacturing inspection experience, understand GD&T, and are confident using precision measuring equipment, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.

• Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.

• Verify parts meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements.

• Identify and document defects and nonconforming products.

• Maintain accurate inspection results and quality records.

• Communicate quality concerns with production, engineering, and management.

• Assist with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Support quality audits and follow established ISO 9001 procedures.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

• Additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.

• 1 to 3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerances.

• Experience using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and consistently follow established quality procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to wear required PPE and safely work around manufacturing equipment.
