Job Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative support to the lending staff for member agricultural and commercial loans
  • Collect, review, and compile loan documentation while ensuring accurate and timely data entry in accordance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare loan and closing documentation, verify accuracy (including legal descriptions, signatures, and vesting), and ensure all files meet compliance standards.
  • Process and fund loans, maintain organized loan files, and complete all post-closing activities efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate proactively with members, lending staff, and third parties to provide status updates, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth loan process from start to finish.
  • Maintain accurate records, follow operational procedures, and contribute to an efficient workflow while upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and the organization's core values.
     

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with loan origination systems or banking systems preferred.
  • Ability to operate a computer, telephone and other office equipment
  • Competitive team player, with a positive attitude willing to learn and adapt to change
  • Ability to communication, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
