Position Summary
The 1st Shift Flavor Production Operator handles the blending, compounding, and mixing of liquid or powder food-grade flavors. This position requires precise recipe execution, strict adherence to multi-step instructions, and accurate documentation of the production run.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review daily production schedules and stage raw aroma chemicals, ingredients, and carriers.
  • Accurately weigh and pour raw materials into mixing tanks, blending machines, or spray dryers following the batch record formulas.
  • Monitor processing equipment during operations to ensure standard mixing times, speeds, and temperatures are sustained.
  • Collect product samples for Quality Assurance testing and laboratory analysis.
  • Complete detailed paperwork, tracking exact ingredient lots used, weights, and total outputs.
  • Execute mandatory equipment washdowns and deep-cleans between product flavor changes.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
