Job description

Role Summary
The Machine Operator is an entry-level position designed for individuals with limited or no prior manufacturing experience. This role focuses on building foundational knowledge of machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards while performing simple, supervised production tasks. Trainees receive structured instruction and hands-on guidance from experienced operators and supervisors to learn core production processes, workplace safety practices, and proper use of tools and equipment. The emphasis is on learning, observation, and gradual development of skills necessary to transition into more independent machine operation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in structured training on machine operation, workplace safety, and quality standards
  • Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and packaging finished goods
  • Perform simple, repetitive tasks such as cleaning work areas, monitoring gauges, and replenishing supplies
  • Learn and practice the safe use of basic measurement tools and inspection methods under supervision
  • Follow standard work instructions precisely with close oversight
  • Immediately report safety hazards, unusual sounds, or equipment issues to supervisors
  • Maintain tools and workstation in a clean, safe, and organized condition (5S)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other basic duties as assigned while building technical proficiency
