Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator I - GrinC/Roll to join a manufacturing team in Rockford, IL. This Direct Hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with roll thread experience who can read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
  • Operate GrinC/Roll machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust machines to meet production requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to verify product specifications.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Perform routine quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine and production issues.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
