What You'll Be Doing:

  • Operate saw machines per work order and setup notes
  • Safely set up equipment and run materials to customer specifications
  • Pull, inspect, and verify materials before processing
  • Accurately record measurements and quality checks per sampling plan
  • Use forklifts and cranes to move materials (must be certified as a Material Handler)
  • Package materials per written work instructions
  • Identify and record scrap or non-conforming material
  • Communicate with sales reps for order clarification when needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance and general clean-up duties
  • Maintain and properly use measuring tools, scales, and scanners
  • Provide performance feedback and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Train others when required
