Specific Role:

The Wire Machine Operator is a key role in EMIT's manufacturing facility, responsible for operating and maintaining wire processing equipment. This position performs hands-on tasks to ensure wire production meets the needs of the assembly team while maintaining quality, organization, and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Execute daily production expectations by running, reviewing, and updating wire files to support assembly team requirements.
  • Ensure finished products meet established quality standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas free of potential hazards.
  • Follow leadership direction to meet daily production priorities.
  • Safely operate and monitor wire machine equipment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machine operator role preferred.
  • Ability to read, review, and update production or machine files accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a production environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
  • Commitment to following all PPE requirements and workplace safety protocols.
