CDL Driver (Class A), 1st Shift – Home Nightly | $27+/hr | Oak Creek, WI

Location: Oak Creek, WI (Home Daily)
Shift: 1st Shift – Starts time: 9am
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Pay: Starting at $27/hour+ (based on experience amp; endorsements)

What You’ll Do

As a CDL Driver, you’ll safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver freight across the Wisconsin region while providing excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport goods to and from customer locations

  • Complete on-time pickups and deliveries - 90% No Touch!

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Follow all DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements

  • Accurately complete logs, delivery paperwork, and ELD entries

  • Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or issues

  • Provide professional, customer-focused service at delivery sites

  • Report maintenance or mechanical concerns promptly

✅ QualificationsRequired:

  • Valid CDL Class A License

  • Clean driving record:

    • No more than 1 moving violation in the past 12 months

    • No more than 3 violations in the past 3 years

    • No DUI/DWI or reckless driving in the past 5 years

  • Ability to operate ELDs and basic navigation tools

  • Strong understanding of DOT safety regulations

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience

  • Familiarity with Wisconsin regional routes

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended driving periods

  • Frequent entering/exiting of tractor cab

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

  • Capable of bending, climbing, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions

Schedule Expectations

  • 1st shift starting at 9AM

  • Flexibility for occasional extended hours or weekends during peak periods
