Packager

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Packager for a company in Oconomowoc, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.

Packager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compare identifying information such as count, weight, or description against line check sheets
  • Assemble shipping containers and insert items into containers using appropriate filler
  • Verify quality of packaging, including but not limited to labels and seals; verify code dates
  • Assemble correct pallet configuration
  • Place bottles or containers on line; ensure they are properly sealed and sleeved before placing caps on bottles
  • Depending on line, may complete certain information on the weight and pallet sheets (pallet contents, case labels, weights, fill heights, etc.)

Packager requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift (8-10 hours)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours)
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel throughout shift (8-10 hours)
  • Ability to do basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
