We're Looking For A(n): Camera Assistant Intern
Location: Hybrid (El Segundo, CA and/or Burbank/North Hollywood, CA)
What You'll Be Doing: The Camera Assistant supports the Creative Production team by helping prepare, maintain, and operate camera equipment across productions. This role ensures camera gear is organized, functional, and shoot-ready while providing technical support to cinematographers and production crews on set.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain camera packages for productions.
  • Assist with camera setup, breakdown, and equipment transportation.
  • Manage media cards, batteries, monitors, and camera accessories during shoots.
  • Support camera department workflows on set, including lens changes, camera moves, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Maintain camera inventory and track equipment condition, repairs, and replacements.
  • Assist with camera prep, testing, and quality control prior to shoot days.
  • Ensure proper storage, organization, and cleanliness of camera gear and related equipment.
  • Coordinate equipment pickups, returns, and vendor interactions as needed.
  • Support production teams with technical and operational needs during shoots.
  • Stay informed on emerging camera technologies, equipment, and production techniques.
