Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: - Provides intra-operative patient care and assists with operations under the supervision of physicians, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel. - Responsible for creating and maintaining the sterile field, preparing the operating room with needed supplies and equipment, and passing instruments and supplies to surgeons. - Cares for patients of all ages undergoing ENT, general, orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, ophthalmology, urology, OB/gynecology, and endoscopy procedures. - Uses Epic; Epic experience within the last 12 months required.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call approximately 70-80 hours in a 4-week period. - 30-minute response time for call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
