An '18 Hour' job typically refers to a part-time position where the employee is scheduled to work 18 hours per week. These jobs are often sought after by students, parents, or individuals seeking flexible work arrangements. The duties and industry can vary widely, but the common factor is the limited number of hours, which may or may not include benefits depending on the employer. It's a good option for those balancing other commitments or looking to supplement their income without a full-time schedule.

What does an 18 hour do?

An 18 Hour role usually refers to a part-time position where employees are scheduled to work a total of 18 hours per week. This arrangement is common in retail, hospitality, and administrative environments, and shifts are often spread over two or more days to provide flexibility for both the employer and the employee. Team members in these roles may be assigned to work during peak business hours or weekends, depending on operational needs. This schedule can be ideal for those seeking work-life balance, students, or individuals with other commitments. Regular communication with supervisors helps ensure shift preferences and availability are accommodated where possible.
