  • Chemical Safety Compliance: Adhere to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) protocols regarding the correct use of cleaning chemicals, ensuring all sanitation supplies are stored completely isolated from food zones.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide a courteous, helpful, and highly positive customer service attitude during daily interactions with cafeteria guests, patients, and clinical staff.
Minimum Essential Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Culinary Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working as a line cook, prep cook, short-order grill cook, or dietary aide in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or cafeteria environment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Compliance: General understanding of food safety guidelines, commercial kitchen tools, and temperature monitoring.
  • Physical & Adaptable Aptitude: Ability to work efficiently under fast-paced service rushes, stand for long durations, and accurately follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong teamwork, clear verbal communication, and a dependable, service-oriented mindset.
Performance-Based Earning Potential
This position features an established compensation scale designed to reward culinary proficiency, volume efficiency, and kitchen tenure. Through sustained operational excellence, mastery of diverse dietary stations, and positive annual reviews, employees have the structural opportunity to progress up to $27.88 per hour over time within the corporate pay structure.
