Job description

Job Title: Software Co-op
Join our team to help healthcare providers maintain accurate, optimized online presence across multiple platforms. You'll work on real-world tools and services that directly impact how patients find and connect with their healthcare providers.
What You'll Do
- Develop tools and services for managing healthcare provider listings across major publishers (Google, Apple, Bing, and more)
- Contribute to systems that optimize listing accuracy, SEO performance, and agentic search results
- Work on substantive projects from conception to deployment
- Present your work to the engineering team and stakeholders
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on production systems serving hospitals, health systems, and provider groups
What We're Looking For / Essential Characteristics
- Self-starting - You take initiative and drive projects forward independently
- Quick learner - You adapt rapidly to new technologies, frameworks, and problem domains
- Impact-driven - You're passionate about building tools that deliver real value to both internal teams and external customers
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset with good communication skills
Technical Skills:
- Programming experience in one or more languages (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with web development concepts
- Basic understanding of APIs and data structures
- Interest in healthcare technology (experience not required)
Bonus considerations:
- Experience with React/Next.js or other modern web frameworks
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Understanding of database concepts
