What you will do:

The Window Installer is responsible for the safe and professional installation of windows and related building products on residential and commercial construction projects. This role works closely with builders, homeowners, contractors, and internal teams to ensure products are installed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Window & Door Installation
  • Install windows, patio doors, and related building products for new construction and renovation projects.
  • Review work orders, installation instructions, measurements, and project specifications before beginning each job.
  • Measure, level, square, secure, and adjust products to ensure proper fit, operation, and performance.
  • Complete installations according to manufacturer specifications, company quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Identify product or installation concerns and communicate issues promptly to the appropriate team.
Jobsite & Material Preparation
  • Load, unload, stage, and organize windows, doors, tools, equipment, and materials needed for daily installations.
  • Safely move and handle building products while protecting materials, finished surfaces, and surrounding work areas from damage.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient jobsites throughout the installation process.
Customer & Jobsite Service
  • Communicate professionally with builders, contractors, homeowners, and other customers while working at job locations.
  • Provide updates on installation progress and respond professionally to questions related to the work being completed.
  • Leave completed work areas clean, organized, and presentable at the end of each job.
Quality & Safety
  • Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, PPE standards, and established installation procedures.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other installation equipment.
  • Inspect completed installations for proper fit, operation, appearance, and overall workmanship.
  • Immediately report damaged products, unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or other jobsite issues.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with Field Managers, Service Technicians, warehouse teams, and fellow installers to complete projects safely and on schedule.
  • Support installation schedules and project deadlines through communication, teamwork, and flexibility.
  • Participate in required safety meetings, training, and additional installation or operational duties as needed.
    What you will bring:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn window and door installation techniques; training is available for candidates with relevant construction experience.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use levels, hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment safely and effectively.
  • Previous experience with window or door installation, millwork, construction, finish carpentry, remodeling, or residential building is preferred.
  • Dependable, safety-focused team player with strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures.
  • Customer-focused and professional when working in residential and commercial construction environments; valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required. OSHA certification is a plus.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, on active construction sites, and on ladders or at elevated heights.
  • Ability to perform physical work throughout the day, including standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequently lifting 50+ lbs. using proper lifting techniques or team assistance; occasional overtime may be required.
