Job description

The Cook’s primary objective is the preparation of food items to ensure high standard of quality and quantity to meet the needs of the residents. You would be handling food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation standards. The Terraces at Summitview prides itself on offering only the best of the best when it comes to service and care for our residents. This includes all food created by our team. Cooking meals from scratch for our fine dining restaurant as well as our assisted living and skilled nursing departments, we are looking for experienced cooks to add to our team.

Schedule: Full-Time, Sunday-Wednesday 9:15am-7:45pm

Pay Range: $19.30-$25.75 per/hr depending on experience 

This position is for you if you have:

  • Scratch cooking experience (must have)
  • Fine dining and/or Country Club cooking experience (must have)
  • Experience with dietary restrictions and modified diets preferred
  • Always looking to gain knowledge from your cooking experiences
  • Care about the quality of food you create and offer
  • Understand and properly follow sanitizing procedures
  • Culinary education preferred
