The Summer House Design Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our growing team and assist with daily project operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, logistics, communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced creative environment. The main goal of this role is to assist our Lead Designers with project execution and procurement, and to support our Office Manager with order tracking, receiving, and managing project goods from start to finish.
Please note: this is not a designer position.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the studio reception area by greeting clients, guests, and partners, answering phones, and ensuring every visitor receives a professional and welcoming experience.
• Assist the Lead Designers with client presentations and architectural schedules
• Assist the Lead Designers with pricing design selections and creating client proposals
• Manage goods receivables, order tracking, shipping updates, and lead times
• Manage item damages, claims, replacements, and vendor follow-ups
• Receive, open, inspect, and organize packages and deliveries (up to 50 lbs)
• Prepare items and materials for installation days; including assisting on installation days
• Assist with client/vendor communication
• Help maintain Studio by managing office and kitchen supply inventory; placing orders, running errands and ensuring cleanliness
Requirements:
• Full-time availability, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• In-person position in Stone Harbor, NJ
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Comfortable using Google Sheets
• Will need to learn Studio Designer and be open to learning other programs
• Experience in purchasing, logistics, project coordination, or administrative support is a plus, but not required
