Job description

About Us
Fence Direct and Florida Fence Wholesale are Central Florida's trusted partners for residential and commercial fencing solutions. We supply contractors, builders, and homeowners across Orlando, Kissimmee, and the surrounding markets with high-quality fence materials and components. We are growing — and we are looking for a reliable, hard-working Warehouse Associate to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the daily handling, organization, and movement of fence materials and inventory in our Orlando warehouse. This role supports the operations and sales teams by ensuring orders are picked, staged, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time. You will play a key role in keeping our warehouse safe, organized, and efficient.

What You'll Do
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming material shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for pickup or delivery
  • Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, labeling, and proper material organization
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards
  • Assist with cutting, bundling, and preparing fence materials as needed
  • Support the operations team with loading customer vehicles and contractor pickups
  • Communicate clearly with sales, scheduling, and dispatch teams on order status
  • Follow all company safety protocols, lifting procedures, and equipment guidelines

What We're Looking For
Required:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse, construction supply, or related material handling experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:

  • Forklift certification (or willingness to be trained and certified)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred — strong plus)
  • Prior experience in fencing, lumber, building materials, or construction supply
  • Basic familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems
  • Valid Florida driver's license

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay: $18–$22/hr. (based on experience)
  • Full-time, consistent schedule (Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays)
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Health benefits eligibility
  • Opportunities for cross-training, certification, and growth within a stable, growing company
  • A respectful, team-focused workplace where your work matters

Work Schedule & Location
  • Location: Orlando, FL (on-site, in-warehouse role)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard daytime hours
  • Required Saturdays based on operational needs
