Role Overview:
The MuleSoft Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of API and integration development using the MuleSoft Anypoint platform. This includes translating complex business requirements into robust technical designs, implementing scalable integrations, enforcing security policies, and ensuring the reliable movement of data across various systems. The role requires a strong understanding of API-led connectivity and modern integration patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build system, process, and experience APIs utilizing RAML/OAS specifications.
- Develop Mule applications within Anypoint Studio, leveraging various connectors and DataWeave for data transformation.
- Implement complex data mapping and transformation logic across diverse formats such as JSON, XML, and EDI.
- Create comprehensive MUnit test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of developed integrations.
- Manage the API lifecycle by applying policies, handling versioning, and publishing APIs to Exchange.
- Deploy Mule applications efficiently to CloudHub and Runtime Fabric (RTF) environments.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines, specifically using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Collaborate effectively with Architects, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Exchange, API Manager, and Runtime Fabric (RTF).
- Strong understanding of Java Fundamentals and the Java Environment.
- Experience with various Integration Patterns including Orchestration, Real-Time/Batch processing, Publish-Subscribe models, and Microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of API-Led Connectivity and Layered Architecture principles.
- Familiarity with WebServices technologies, including SOAP and REST.
- Proficiency in Version Control systems, particularly Bitbucket.
Qualifications:
- MuleSoft certification is considered an added benefit.
