Job description

Job Summary:
NetJets is the global private aviation leader for more than 60 years, providing exceptional private travel services. The Manager of Endpoint Platform Engineering will lead the strategy and operations of enterprise endpoint platforms, focusing on delivering a secure and automated environment while managing a team of engineers.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for enterprise endpoint platforms, including Windows and macOS devices.
• Manage and continuously improve device enrollment and provisioning capabilities, including Windows Autopilot, macOS enrollment, and zero‑touch deployment processes.
• Own the packaging, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications across Windows and macOS, including third‑party and internally developed applications using tools such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and Patch My PC.
• Lead the planning and delivery of security patches and updates, including:
• Windows and macOS operating system updates
• Third‑party application security patches
• Device drivers, firmware, and BIOS updates
• Establish and mature standardized, automated patching and deployment processes, including testing, deployment rings, remediation, and reporting.
• Partner with Architecture, Cyber Security, End User Technology, and the Service Desk to align endpoint strategy with enterprise standards, security policies, and operational requirements.
• Serve as a key liaison with Cyber Security to ensure endpoint platforms and supporting teams adhere to security policies, risk management guidance, and compliance (CIS) expectations.
• Identify and mitigate endpoint security and operational risks, including device lifecycle management, and implement plans of action for risk reduction.
• Build and leverage automation and AI-driven capabilities to streamline endpoint operations, improve reliability, and reduce manual effort.
• Prepare and present status, health, compliance, and progress reporting related to endpoint platforms, application delivery, patching posture, and automation initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering organization, including performance evaluation, prioritization, and goal setting.
• Provide guidance on technical decisions, operational practices, and administrative policies.
• Drive adoption of modern endpoint engineering best practices and contribute to the ongoing maturity of NetJets’ enterprise IT capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's in related field
• 8-10 years of experience
• Minimum of 4–6 years of proven experience managing a team of technical professionals
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in end-user support roles
• Technical knowledge of Windows endpoint platforms, including Windows OS management, deployment, configuration, patching, and lifecycle support
• Experience with Microsoft Intune (or similar enterprise endpoint management platform) for device management, policy enforcement, application deployment, and security controls
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute large-scale, highly complex initiatives utilizing a highly skilled team of contributors
• Excel in collaboration, leadership, and building strong, effective teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay technical concepts to a business audience
• Consistently driven to deliver results
• Proven experience delegating and managing project tasks across organizational boundaries
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to define clear expectations while meeting tight deadlines and budgets
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly absorb new technical concepts and build on learned knowledge
