Wessler Engineering is seeking a qualified individual interested in a long‑term career opportunity. This position is for an Environmental Services Project Manager to work in our Dublin, Ohio office.
Description:
The Environmental Services Project Manager maintains contact with assigned clients to obtain engineering engagements and manages and coordinates assigned engagements. Applicants should have the ability to prepare man‑hour budgets, fee estimates, proposals, and service contracts for clients. Scheduling, planning, and managing all meetings with clients, including scope, planning meetings, regulatory audits, site compliance inspections, project progress reports, presentations, and client approval of reports, plans, and permits are also responsibilities for this role. Applicants will serve as the normal channel of communications between the Project Team Members and Client and Project Team and assumes his/her share of the joint responsibility for the successful and profitable execution of each engagement to high professional standards. Applicants should have the ability to multitask, prioritize, interpret and apply environmental regulations, research, synthesize, and communicate new information quickly, and communicate effectively with clients.
Projects for our clients include a wide range of environmental services, including environmental impact research, NPDES permitting, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plans, Wellhead Protection Planning, MS4 planning and implementation, pretreatment programs, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources or a related field from an accredited four‑year college or university.
6 years of relevant experience is required.
Applicants should possess public speaking, technical writing, and computer skills.
