Job description

The Nurse Practitioner will medically monitor patients that are participating in our weight loss programs ranging from meal replacement supported very low calorie diet (VLCD) programs, to food plans. You will work closely with our Clinical Director to help patients tackle their weight loss challenges and ensure healthy progress. The Nurse Practitioner will work in a busy, fast-paced environment seeing all patients on the schedule for that clinic session. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and feedback on our programs and processes. We are looking for energetic, friendly faces to take our patient experience to the next level.



Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple patients as they come in for their weekly visits
  • Managing patient medications and supplements
  • Reviewing lab results to manage any conditions as our patients move through our program
  • Emphasize lifestyle change, increased physical activity and healthy eating
  • Work 1 on 1 with weekly patients (some telehealth may apply)
  • Stay up to date on latest obesity treatment methods and practices


Qualifications:


  • Obtained a CNP credential
  • Experience treating Obesity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High-level time management and organization
  • Strong work ethic and performance standards
  • An outgoing and energetic personality


Clinic hours include some evenings and weekends but can be flexible. An individualized work schedule will be determined by the candidate and the Executive Director. The position is currently part time but full time could be available for a candidate that fits.
