Outreach Engagement Specialist Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with two (2) years of experience working in human services.
  • Case management and/or outreach experience with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse preferred.
  • Lived experience, peer-support certification, and similar work experience in lieu of college degree acceptable.

Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. We are looking for skilled, talented, and compassionate people to join our team! We remain driven by our value of excellence in quality care for all and fostering a culture that embraces dignity of all. This position is responsible for providing intensive outreach and engagement services to high-need unsheltered individuals and families within the City of Columbus including linkage to appropriate community resources. The right candidate will have a passion for working with the unhoused population, an understanding of the challenges faced by this population, and knowledge of local resources. This is a collaborative project with Southeast Healthcare and funded by the City of Columbus.
