Job Summary This position is responsible for supporting production by the removal of trash, cardboard, and metal chips from the lines.

Essential Functions
1 Ensures lines are maintained with proper trash, cardboard, and chip removal
2. Monitors lines to ensure all production equipment is running properly.
3.Assists in repairs, rebuilds, inspects, modifies, moves, installs, sets up, and maintains all production equipment.
4. Performs preventative maintenance on all production equipment during shutdown and weekends to ensure that all production equipment runs as efficiently as possible.

3. Continuously seeks to improve processes
4. Promotes a safe working environment
5. Communicates with other Associates and Shift Team Leaders regarding production issues.

Requirements
Education High school diploma or equivalency is preferred.
Experience Three years’ experience in forklift operations required. One to two years’ experience in equipment maintenance preferred.
Skills Position requires specific knowledge of forklift safety and operation. Knowledge of machines used in production at YNA preferred. Skills include mechanical, basic data entry, familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Working Conditions Position requires the ability to bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive arm movements, lift up to 50 pounds, stand on concrete for extended periods of time, work mandatory overtime, and withstand temperatures of up to 100 degrees.
