Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor potable water systems under Class I certification in healthcare and senior-living environments
- Perform system inspections and monitor temperature, disinfectant residuals, pH, flow, and other key parameters
- Collect field data, maintain accurate compliance documentation, and support regulatory reporting requirements
- Perform basic mechanical tasks involving valves, pumps, recirculation systems, mixing valves, and related equipment
- Support installation and monitoring of secondary disinfection systems and point-of-use filtration
- Communicate findings clearly to supervisors and represent the company with professionalism at client sites
Required Qualifications
- Active Class I Water Operator Certification (state-issued)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of Ohio EPA public water system regulations and OSHA safety practices
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with piping and water systems
- Ability to work independently in the field and document work accurately
- Basic computer skills (mobile apps, email, Word, Excel)
