Position: Land Development - Project Manager

Location: Columbus, OH

Salary: $120,000-$140,000/ year

Land Development Project Manager

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex land development projects from concept through completion. This position oversees project delivery, client relationships, technical teams, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site development projects, including design, permitting, schedules, budgets, and quality control.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, providing proactive communication and guidance.
  • Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers, engineers, and technical staff.
  • Oversee contracts, invoicing, change orders, and overall project profitability.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and present at public hearings or community meetings.
  • Support business development, account growth, and client retention.
  • Promote technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of land development, civil/site design, and permitting experience.
  • Proven project management and client relationship experience.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and technical teams.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
