Job description

Material Handler – Warehouse & Inventory Operations

Columbus, OH Warehouse, inventory, and logistics experience preferred Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Material Handler for a long-term opportunity in Columbus, OH. Earn $25–$29 per hour based on experience while supporting large-scale commercial and industrial projects through warehouse operations, inventory management, and material coordination. Logistics Associates at Next Level Technician play a critical role in ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are available to support active projects. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while building a long-term career in logistics, supply chain, and construction support.

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments by preparing, loading, and verifying orders
  • Pull materials, pack shipments, stage deliveries, and organize inventory for project needs
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by collecting stock requests and documenting material movement
  • Ensure warehouse organization by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations clean and orderly
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Complete required reports and accurately enter inventory and shipment data
  • Follow all company safety procedures, warehouse standards, and quality expectations
  • Work closely with project teams and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time
  • Participate in ongoing training and contribute to continuous process improvements
Requirements:
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred
  • Forklift operating experience required
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Basic computer and data entry experience
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a warehouse environment
  • Dependable with strong attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
