American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active OH or compact license and prior IR experience.

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other or every third weekend coverage as needed
• Floating may be required
• On-call requirement of 2 shifts during the contract
• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior Interventional Radiology experience required
• Skills in circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, scrub procedures, and electrophysiology procedures preferred
• Triage skills preferred
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor and the second from a Charge RN or higher; coworker references not accepted

• Responsibilities include circulating procedures and managing dysrhythmias in an interventional radiology setting
• Candidates must complete an urgent Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon signing the contract
• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an in-state fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
• Candidates at extreme distances from Ohio will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete urgently upon receipt
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Former employees eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible to be hired as a traveler
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates with IR-specific skills may be considered even without prior travel experience
