Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze transportation data including freight spend, carrier performance, service metrics, transit times, and capacity utilization.
  • Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics tools.
  • Generate actionable insights to improve transportation performance and support business decision-making.
  • Support Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) performance tracking and transportation optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor transportation trends, identify data quality issues, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Master Data teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Maintain transportation reporting, documentation, and TMS data accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on transportation efficiency and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation analytics, operations, or business analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with transportation, freight, or logistics analytics.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Knowledge of domestic and international transportation operations.
  • Experience with process improvement or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
