POSITION SUMMARY

The Mulligan Club Attendant is the on-the-ground presence for Thrive Wellness's private indoor golf simulator amenity at The Michael. REPORTS TO: Director of Wellness

RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS, AND DUTIES

Booking & Access Management

  • Confirm reservations and manage same-day booking issues through Trackman.
  • Verify a signed Use Agreement & Liability Waiver is on file before granting any first-time access.
  • Support the waitlist/fill process for cancelled slots per the Operating Policy's priority order (Premier, Gold, Athletic Add-On, Open Booking).

Facility Operations

  • Execute opening and closing procedures for each assigned shift.
  • Reset and clean the hitting bay, putting green, and seating areas between sessions.
  • Perform basic Trackman/equipment troubleshooting and escalate anything beyond basic fixes to Management immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and stock in the facility.

Member & Guest Experience

  • Greet members and guests, confirm session details, and answer questions about membership tiers, rates, and league play.
  • Enforce House Rules consistently and respectfully — session length, guest limits, food/beverage restrictions, and equipment-use guidelines.
  • Collect applicable guest fees at time of session per membership tier.

Safety, Damage & Compliance

  • Monitor for equipment misuse and intervene before damage occurs.
  • Report any damage, safety concerns, or rule violations to Management immediately and in writing, per policy.
  • Support league play and any scheduled tournaments or private bookings.

Cross-Location & Administrative Support

  • Monitor security camera feeds for the other The Athletic Cos. locations (Quarry Trails, Harrison West and Italian Village) during downtime between Mulligan Club sessions, flagging unauthorized guest access or membership-sharing to Management.
  • Respond to after-hours inbox messages from members and residents, routing anything needing escalation to the appropriate Team Member the next business day.
  • Support general administrative work as assigned (data entry, filing, correspondence, and similar tasks) during non-peak periods of a shift.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service or hospitality experience preferred; golf or sports facility experience a plus but not required — training on Trackman and house procedures is provided.
  • Comfortable learning booking/access software; general comfort with basic technology.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to enforce rules with members and guests in a friendly, professional way.
  • Available for the confirmed afternoon/evening schedule, including evenings and weekends, as a hard scheduling requirement.
  • Physically able to stand for the duration of a shift and move lightweight equipment.

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Community Management, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • At least two (2) to four (4) years of related community management experience with multi-family/residential community and at least one (1) to two (2) years of experience leading a team is required.
  • Experience with community management software systems and Microsoft Office® is preferred.
  • CAM® or CAPS® preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • Every assigned shift opens and closes on schedule with a clean handoff for the next shift.
  • Low equipment damage/incident rate relative to session volume.
  • Positive member and guest feedback on the Mulligan Club experience.
  • Smooth, well-run league play and event sessions.
  • Accurate waiver-on-file and guest-fee compliance for every session.
  • After-hours inbox messages are answered within the shift, with nothing left unanswered for the next business day.
  • All policy violations across locations are caught and flagged for Management, keeping The Athletic Cos. experience fair and members-only for everyone.
