Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must reside in the state of Ohio.
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in manufacturing engineering, electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field; OR a bachelor's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline.
- In some cases, an associate degree combined with relevant work experience, professional licensure/certifications, or demonstrated competencies may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish positive working relationships with students, colleagues, and staff.
- Willingness to utilize various instructional methods, including email and online learning management systems.
- Commitment to student success, engagement, and empowerment in their learning journey.
- Alignment with COTC's mission, values, and objectives.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in an engineering-related field or education.
- Previous teaching experience, curriculum development, and assessment experience.
- For Advanced Manufacturing Technology courses:
- Working knowledge of manual and CNC machinery, precision assembly, and multi-craft maintenance.
- Prior experience in manufacturing.
