Job Title:Temporary Dining Operations AssistantDepartment:Student Life | Dining Services

The Temporary Dining Operations Assistant supports the dining operation serving students, staff and guests of The Ohio State University; greets and serves customers; operates coffee equipment, makes gourmet coffee and specialty drinks; prepares and handles food and beverage orders; collects payment by cash, credit or Buck ID, prepares sales reports; takes daily inventory; stocks shelves, freezers, and coolers; maintains a clean and sanitary service and work area; position makes decisions based on established policies and procedures under the direction of the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of front-line customer service experience.

  • One year of experience with the taking and filling of food orders.

  • One year of experience in serving or catering.

Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this position is $17.00 per hour.

This role is a temporary role and can last a maximum of 1 year.
