Job description

We are seeking a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in the design, development, and release of chassis and suspension structural components, including:

  • Steering Knuckles (Wheel Carriers)
  • Control Arms
  • Subframes (Engine Cradles)
  • Crossmembers
  • Shock Towers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own component design and release activities from concept through production.
  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
  • Support DFMEA, DVP&R, validation testing, and engineering change management.
  • Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, suppliers, testing, and vehicle integration teams.
  • Ensure designs meet performance, durability, crash, NVH, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Support prototype builds, issue resolution, and production launch activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience designing and releasing chassis/suspension components listed above.
  • Proficiency in CATIA, NX, Creo, or similar CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, PPAP, and PLM systems.
  • Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience preferred.
