Job Summary:
As a Laborer, you will support construction crews by performing manual labor tasks, assisting with underground utility installation, and maintaining safe and organized worksites. You will help execute trenching, conduit placement, concrete and asphalt work, and support field crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
• Attend and participate in daily safety and huddle meetings
• Operate tamping machines and assist with equipment inspections and maintenance
• Load and unload materials and maintain clean, organized worksites
• Assist with trench excavation, conduit placement, potholing, and utility locating
• Support concrete forming, pouring, asphalt preparation, and structure installation
• Observe and promote safety compliance and report incidents as required
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and MVR review

Experience
• 0–2 years of labor or construction experience preferred
• Experience in underground utility construction is a plus

Skills and Abilities
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform repetitive manual labor tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in underground utility construction
• Experience operating small equipment and hand tools
• CDL license preferred
• Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform repetitive manual labor tasks for extended periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and MVR
