Job Title: Material Handler IIJob DescriptionResponsible for ensuring that distribution activities are conducted in accordance with internal quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. You will read and follow work orders and instructions to ascertain materials or container loads to be moved. You are authorized to use specific equipment following successful training, including Pallet jack, Rider jack, Standup, Order picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, and Forklift over 5K. You will load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, or other warehouse equipment. Additionally, you will load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Counting, weighing, and recording the number of units of materials moved or handled on a daily production sheet is also part of the role.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a warehouse environment with open shifts available. The shifts include: 1st shift Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm, 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 9am - 7:30pm with a $1.50 shift differential, and a weekend shift Friday - Sunday 5:30am - 6pm with a $3 shift differential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Jefferson, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
