Job Description

Manual/Automation QA

Duration - 18 months

Location - Columbus, OH

TOP SKILLS - Manual, automation, SQL

1. Manual Testing experience 2. test script creation/implementation. 3. SQL (Ability to read and write SQL queries. 4. Agile (experience with a standing team model, iterative development)

Job Description:

Contractor will perform duties as defined within ESDm roles and responsibilities and produce deliverables as defined within this methodology. This person will typically work on projects taking direction from an assigned Test Lead, but could be expected to play both a Test Lead and Test Analyst role on smaller efforts. Specific skills: Looking for someone with SQL, SQR, and the ability to write and execute queries to get and use data. Primary application uses Oracle Forms and an Qracle DB, so that would be a plus. Java and Web Services would be an added bonus.

The test analyst role is responsible for: planning and conducting a wide range of quality control tests and analysis to ensure that all application products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements. Associates are expected to perform test planning, test design and test execution. G and H Bands may have the additional responsibility of test automation.

Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies moderately complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system log difficulties as necessary. Guides and advises less-experienced analysts. Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
