Job description

Shifts:

1st shift 8-4:30 2nd shift 2-10:30 (some flexibility available)

Fabrisonic Additive Technician Job Responsibilities

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of CAD, CAM and CMM programming, UAM, and other additive manufacturing & fabrication methods within the lab; including inspection equipment.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify, diagnose, and solve technical issues with equipment. Assist in machine maintenance efforts, including weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance requirements.
  • Quality Control: Comply with all customer requirements for quality, plan for inspection and testing of parts, and ensure that parts produced meet performance and quality requirements before projects are completed/parts are delivered to customers. Understand GD&T and other quality specification. Strictly adhere to the company’s quality manual and ISO processes.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to company safety policies and industry safety protocols and standards.
  • Project Execution: Understand project requirements, complete tasks as required and advise and assist in the execution of R&D and production projects.
  • Task and Time Management: Effectively plan tasks out to ensure that projects are completed on-time (per customer’s deadlines/delivery requirements) and that time is managed effectively.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project notes, take pictures, and prepare detailed reports for management and customers, and maintain all necessary project documentation to ensure compliance with our quality process (ISO 9001:2015).
  • Resource Management: Ensure that resources allocated to a project are used effectively and within the project budget.

Additional Requirements for Fabrisonic Technician

  • Full-time, 40-hrs per week (overtime must be requested and approved by the GM)
  • Normally first shift with occasional second shift work (up to 60% of the time), depending on production requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, to include conventional machining operations
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM, CNC machining, and technical lab & fabrication skills (3, 4, and 5 axis)
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, every-changing environment with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards
  • Ability to read technical engineering prints, proficiency in GD&T and technical standards
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to pass drug screening
  • Due to the requirements of work, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
