Job description

Construction Manager (OSP Fiber Construction)

Multiple Locations | 70% Office / 30% Field |

Telecommunications Construction

We're looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead large-scale OSP fiber construction projects supporting major broadband and fiber network expansion initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams and contractors, and can successfully manage multiple projects from kickoff through closeout.

What You'll Do

✅ Manage multiple underground and aerial fiber

construction projects simultaneously

✅ Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasts,

and resource planning

✅ Lead Construction Supervisors, field teams, and

subcontractors

✅ Monitor production, quality, safety, and

project performance metrics

✅ Conduct field audits, site visits, and quality

inspections

✅ Review permits, construction drawings,

redlines, and closeout documentation

✅ Track contractor invoices, change orders, and

project expenditures

✅ Partner with engineering, permitting,

operations, and executive leadership teams

✅ Communicate project status, risks, and

mitigation plans to stakeholders

✅ Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, NESC, 811,

and client requirements

Required Experience

• 5+ years of Construction

Management, Project Management, or Telecom Construction leadership experience

• Strong knowledge of underground and aerial fiber construction

• Experience managing multiple projects, supervisors, and subcontractors

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, permits, and project documentation

• Experience with scheduling, forecasting, and operational reporting

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Multi-market construction management experience

• Broadband expansion or large-scale fiber deployment projects

• Budget management and forecasting experience

• Telecom infrastructure and utility construction environments

• Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and Power BI

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
