Job Description:

  • Manage the care of the flower beds and landscaping and report anything out of the ordinary to Supervisor.
  • Maintain the grounds to be free of trash and debris
  • Be able to work independently when required
  • Have at least a minimal comprehension of plant/tree ID 
  • Knowledgeable in the proper use and care of general landscape equipment
  • Keep lawns mowed, sidewalks and curbs edged, and curbs and corners swept
  • Maintain all mowing, plowing equipment, gas-powered equipment, and hand tools in a clean operating order
  • Maintain hospital owned trucks in a clean and professional manner
  • Complete work orders, as received
  • Clean work area at the end of the day
  • Inspect and report any damage to summer and winter equipment
  • Leaf removal
  • Snow removal in the winter months
  • Complete WebEd courses and other required education
  • LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
