Students must:
  • possess good written and verbal communication skills, organization, and time management skills.
  • have basic familiarity with social media content creation.

Preferred Qualifications:
Student who:
  • is able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • has a strong interest in marketing, communications and public relations.
  • has a portfolio of successful media campaigns or a composed set of ideas to improve social channels and website.
  • has familiarity with posting to current and emerging social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube).
  • has photography and video production experience

Summary of Duties:
Student employment provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while supporting campus programs and services.
In this postion, the student will:
  • Develop and create engaging multimedia content, including written, graphic, photographic, and video materials, for use across digital communication platforms such as social media, email, websites, and other marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team and campus partners to capture, produce, and edit promotional content that supports institutional branding and outreach initiatives.
  • Represent the Marketing department at campus events, including those held outside regular business hours, by capturing content and promoting college programs and activities.
