Job description

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Hematopathologist to join the Department of Pathology. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake bone marrow/lymph node, fluid/coagulation, and flow cytometry diagnostic services, participate in resident and medical student education, conduct productive basic, clinical, and/or translational research, and collaborate with the Hematology/Oncology division.

Responsibilities
  • Perform bone marrow, lymph node, fluid/coagulation, and flow cytometry diagnostic services.
  • Teach and supervise resident and medical student education in pathology.
  • Conduct basic, clinical, and translational research aligned with the department’s mission.
  • Collaborate with the Hematology/Oncology division and other clinical teams.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO or equivalent.
  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Pathology.
  • Subspecialty in Hematopathology.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
