Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a fulfilling journey supporting young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational environment. This contract role begins August 20, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, offering a great opportunity to make a difference throughout the school year. You’ll work with elementary students, managing a caseload that averages in the high 60s to low 70s, reinforcing your expertise and commitment to pediatric care.

Ideal candidates bring genuine dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm for helping children reach their communication goals. The workweek totals 37.5 hours, providing ample time for collaborative engagement and individual support.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active certification as an SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school settings
  • Strong clinical background working with elementary-aged children
  • Ability to manage a caseload and adapt strategies to meet diverse needs
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech/language therapy for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough assessments and deliver targeted interventions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
