What You'll Do as a Public Safety Intelligence Analyst
   Identify & analyze informational databases, spreadsheets & reports allowing information to be easily exchanged & understood;
   Prepare intelligence reports, products & briefings for presentation to all public safety partners;
   Maintain association with & facilitates exchange of information between federal, state & local law enforcement agencies & taskforces for disposition of criminal activity &/or intelligence information on criminal activity (e.g., narcotic trafficking, illegal dark web activity);
   Coordinate research activities with other departmental unites &/or outside agencies;
   Gather locally generated information (e.g., criminal activity, suspicious activity reporting) based on time sensitive & emerging threats;

OPTION 1:
36 mos. exp conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.

OPTION 2:
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs or related field; 
AND 12 mos. exp. conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a commercial cryptocurrency training OR certification in a cryptocurrency tracing tool(s).
