As a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, we've rapidly grown to over 1,500 associates and are now fully operational in our 1.1 million-square-foot factory. This production technical engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Other main responsibilities include: Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. We are currently looking for a Process Engineer for our new factory in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities:
- Analyze process-related exceptions and technical issues that arise during production, responsible for timely handling and resolution of technical issues to ensure normal operation of production work.
- Participate in and coordinate activities related to process, materials, equipment, and new product trials on the production line, including data collection, organization, and reporting.
- Control and improve workshop process indicators such as string repair rate, stacking repair rate, first-pass yield, and hidden crack rate.
- Lead and establish project work, promote continuous improvement, and reduce costs while increasing efficiency.
- Coordinate the implementation of work among departments within the workshop, handle workshop-related anomalies, and provide technical support to customers.
- Lead the analysis of non-conforming products, propose reasonable solutions, and provide timely feedback to relevant departments. Also, supervise the implementation of the solutions in subsequent production.
- Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Typically Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering.
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
- Strong Knowledge of production safety required.
- Knowledge of lean production, production quality.
- Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Strong learning agility, open minded and curious.
- Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline.
