Come join our Team!ย Suntria is one of the fastest growing solar companies in the nation. We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician who is seeking an opportunity to grow! This is the time to get involved in one of the nations largest industries!

Suntria electricians are responsible for installing and upgrading main service panels to tie into our (PV) systems. Suntria electricians are dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure best in class customer service above all else.
  • Prep vehicles with parts/equipment daily.
  • Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required to install residential and solar PV systems.
  • Go to service calls to assess and fix any electrical problems.
  • Obtain all required materials to complete the assigned project.
  • Proper installation of required materials, as contracted and designed.
  • All electrical work meets or exceeds the current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdiction requirements.
  • All projects are completed in a workman-like manner.
  • Review project packets for completeness and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot PV systems and resolve electrical issues.
  • Oversee and effectively communicate with local inspectors.
  • Ensure all projects pass jurisdiction requirements.
  • Maintain and enforce safety and training programs.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed.
  • Must be open to travel
  • 1+ years of experience as a Residential Electrician.
  • Ability to calculate total load amperage ratings, wattages, KW & KVA sizes.
  • Experience with MPUs and derates
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the project.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Professional appearance, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and grit.

Compensation:

  • This position offers piece rate pay, allowing you to earn based on the amount of work you complete. The more systems you install, the more you earn.
