Job description

Step into a fulfilling role serving high school-aged students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals eager to make a meaningful impact in a school-based environment-either onsite or via teletherapy. You'll support students in achieving their communication goals, collaborate with educators, and play a crucial part in improving educational outcomes.
Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license and current ASHA certification (SLP-CCC)
  • Clinical Fellow Year (SLP-CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in schools, is welcomed but not mandatory
  • Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working within a diverse team and adapting to teletherapy platforms
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for high school students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide speech-language therapy services in-person or through secure teletherapy systems
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
