Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team at ComResource, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with Azure and Microsoft 365, as well as 2-5 years' experience in managing local infrastructure systems, including Windows Servers, networking equipment, and security protocols.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Azure-based environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, to provide seamless collaboration and communication solutions.
  • Oversee local infrastructure systems, including Windows Servers, endpoints, and other related components.
  • Configure and manage networking equipment, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points, to ensure reliable network connectivity.
  • Maintain Active Directory services, including DHCP and DNS, to support user authentication and resource access.
  • Utilize Azure Active Directory to manage user identities and access rights, ensuring proper security measures are in place.
  • Handle Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 management tasks, troubleshooting issues and optimizing configurations.
  • Implement key security and management concepts such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access, mobile device management, and mobile application management.
  • Manage Active Directory hybrid configurations and integrate on-premises environments with cloud services.
  • Utilize Group Policy and/or Intune Device Management to implement and maintain device policies and configurations.
  • Provide support and assistance through ticketing and support solutions, addressing user inquiries and technical issues promptly.
  • Monitor and manage systems remotely, utilizing remote monitoring and management solutions to ensure system health and performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to deliver exceptional IT solutions and services.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • 2-4 years' experience working with local infrastructure systems, including Windows Servers and endpoints.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and experience with network equipment, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS administration.
  • Knowledge and experience with Azure Active Directory management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Security Concepts utilizing multi-factor authentication, conditional access, mobile device management, and mobile application management.
  • Experience with Active Directory hybrid configurations and Intune management.
  • Previous experience with ticketing and support solutions.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and management solutions.
  • Experience within an MSP environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA, Microsoft MCSE, MS-102, MS-100, AZ-104/500/700/305, SC-300/400/100 are advantageous.
Familiarity with CIS, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC are advantageous.
